Description: Presented is a fabulous set of 6 American coin silver breakfast knives. These knives were made by Jones, Ball & Co and date to circa 1853. The knives are done in a classical beaded pattern. The knives are solid silver, with silver blades and no weighting in the handles. Each knife is monogrammed MAH on the handle, above the date 1853. This set is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The knives are stamped Jones, Ball & Co on the blades. Jones, Ball & Co, a partnership of George Bond Jones, Trueworthy M. Ball, Nathaniel C. Poor, and Seth E. Brown, active circa 1853-1855. Successor to Jones, Ball & Poor.
