Description: This is a 1984 paperback first printing of the BYTES BROTHERS book #4, COMPUTE A CLUE, by Lois and Floyd McCoy, published by Bantam. This unusual take on choose-your-own-adventure-style gamebooks let readers input very basic BASIC programs into their home computers to enhance the story. This book is in very good condition for its age, with a few minor signs of storage, handling, or age. Please see the photos and read the below written description for a full sense of the condition of this book. Spine is smooth with no creases. Binding is nice and tight. Book feels minimally handled, probably unread. Front cover has light corner wear and a few minor areas of edge wear, most noticeably along bottom edge. Back cover has a superficial dent-like crack in the lower left area and some discoloration of the white surface areas typical of older paperbacks, plus minor scuffing near the bottom right corner where a price sticker was removed. Interiors of covers have yellowed/discolored from age. Page edges are yellowed from age. No writing, marks, stickers, stamps or labels inside or on the outside of this book. For its age, this is a really nice, tight, clean copy of this wonderful little time capsule into early home computing. I do NOT use stock photos.
