Description: British Green & Gold Floral Maroon Ironstone Soap Dish Circa 1840-1850s Nice British antique ironstone soap dish. Decorated with a maroon band around the top of the dish. Maroon band around the lid with green and gold floral scrollwork band. Unmarked. Probably circa 1840 to 1850s. Has some wear to the gilding. Has a chip to the edge of the lid, and some glaze flaking and small chips around the rim of the dish. Measures approximately 5 inches long x 3 7/8 inches wide x 3 5/8 inches tall to the top of the lid finial. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. DUBX
