Description: Bowser 100500 HO PRR K4 Pacific Steam Loco BASIC kit + SUPERDETAIL Kit I purchased the basic version of this loco kit in the late 1980's with the intent to build it for a planned HO layout. The layout was never built so this kit was never assembled. All I did with this kit after purchasing was some light filing and sanding on the boiler and tender to remove casting burrs and flashing. I akso opened at that time several of the parts bags, but basically left everything in the box. The original parts list was compared and it appears all parts for the basic kit are there. For those parts that had been removed from their bags, they were all returned to their bags and re-stapled as when the kit was new. Also included here is the separately purchased superdetail kit. The single superdetail kit bag also had been opened and the parts were also kept in the box. Many of the superdetail parts are cast brass parts. When comparing the superdetail parts to the superdetail kit parts list a number of parts appear missing. The missing parts are the two pair of marker lights, a pair of classification lights, and all 12 red, green & yellow small marker light jewels. All the other parts in the superdetail kit were also but back in a bag and stapled shut. NOTE: I CANNOT ASSURE THAT WITH THE MANY PARTS AND SCREWS IN THESE TWO KITS THAT NONE WERE MISIDENTIFIED WHEN COMPARING TO THE PARTS LISTS OR INSTRUCTIONS AND PUT INTO THE WRONG PARTS BAG. This kit box has been kept on a closet shelf in my smoke free home all these years. The box is in solid and good condition with wear. Tape was applied to the outside of the box to keep it closed to avoid loosing parts. Some of the tape along with tape residue remain on the outside of the box. The green interior foam rubber material is in good condition with no decomposition. Please carefully review all the pictures for more detail about this kit being sold "as is". Do note on the two parts list pictures the check marks next to all parts that are included in these two kits. The loco kit with the superdetail kit inside will be carefully packed with bubble wrap in a solid shipping box. Buyer pays for shipping and can choose either USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail.
