Description: BitMoTM Mod Kits – Instructions Only Delivered via email as .PDF attachment fileNote: You must include a note with your email address. eBay/PayPal no longer show this to me. Save Money – use your own parts This listing is for BitMoTM Modification Instruction documents only and DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY PARTS. You will need your own amp or pedal and purchase your own parts. This is the only sanctioned place to get these hard-to-find BitMoTM classic modifications. Each item is delivered via email as a .PDF document which includes step-by-step instructions with pictures and diagrams, parts lists – all the information necessary to implement these mods. Also includes suggestions on usage, additional mods and tweaks, recommended tubes and speaker swaps, etc. Because of copyright issues, I do not include schematics for most of these amps/pedals. (These can usually be found on line.) However, schematics are not necessary to implement these mods. As previously stated, you must procure your own parts. They are all fairly standard and available from various suppliers. Each sale is for the listed Instruction document and a non-commercial license for a single implementation of the modifications. All sales are final – returns are not accepted. These are well vetted modifications that have been selling for years. I have literally thousands of satisfied customers. There are lots of customer demos of these and my other mods on YouTube. (Search “BitMo mods”.) The documents and designs are copyrighted and the name BitMoTM is my trademark. Please do not distribute or republish. Please contact me about obtaining instructions for other BitMoTM kits. Please pardon the mixed fonts in this listing. ;^) Details about the various mods: Tweaky/Spanky + Tone Control – for the Epiphone Valve Jr. amp This has been one of my most popular kits and a great place for novice modders to start. This kit include several mods and 5 different suggested configurations - takes this little amp from OK to great across the full range of the Volume control. Also includes the instructions for the BitMoTM Tweed Style Tone Control. Works with V2 or V3 of the EVJ head or combo. Trio – for the Epiphone Valve Jr. ampThis is the most comprehensive and actually contains 2 sets of mods - a 3 way voicing switch (see the V-Switch description, below.), a tone control with pull boost. It also works well with B-Verb mod also listed here. Works with V2 or V3 of the EVJ head or combo. B-Verb – for the Epiphone Valve Jr. ampAdds digital reverb to the EVJ. Provides classic wet reverb. It works well with clean surf, country or jazz tones, and even overdriven classic rock. It sounds great – very natural and spring-like, featuring the same Accutronics Belton reverb block used in several boutique amps and pedals. It actually sounds better than the real spring tanks in some classic amps. . I also works well with Trio and Tweaky mods also listed here. Works with V2 or V3 of the EVJ head or combo. Spring Reverb – for the Epiphone Valve Jr. ampCONVERTS your head into a real spring reverb box like the classic Fender Reverb. Provides classic wet reverb. It uses the same Accutronics reverb tank used in classic and boutique amps. The speaker output jack still works but only provides a lower volume clean sound. The reverb/mix sound is routed to a seperate jack. Works with V2 or V3 of the EVJ head. Ant Eater – for the Blackheart BH1H Killer Ant amp These mods make the BH1 much more versatile by adding a tweed style Tone Control with a pull boost switch, and a late-stage line out. All voicings are very touch sensitive and great across the full range of the volume control going from warm or sparkly clean to balzout overdrive with lots of interesting shades in between. The modded amp makes a great “front end” preamp into another amp, computer or PA. V-Switch – works on most tube amps This is the generic version of the famous BitMoTM 3-way Voicing Switch (similar to the ones provided by the BitMo TRIO, VoxMo15, and several other kits). It adds 2 new voicings to almost any guitar amp that has a tube preamp. This really makes the amp much more versatile. You do not lose anything. The middle position of the added switch is the stock configuration of the amp. Switch position 1 lowers the gain, increases the headroom and provides a “Super Jangle” voicing perfect with your Rickenbacker 12 string for Byrds and Beatles. With a tighter bass and enhanced mid-treble response, this also works wonders for removing the mud from humbucker pickups. Switch position 3 boosts and shifts the mid frequencies down and raises the gain for a stout crunch to full-on overdrive that can go from crunch to chocolaty brown cello sound to that classic singing “Overdrive” tone. Triple Bypass for the Blackheart Little Giant BH5 ampAdds the 3 way voicing switch (see V-Switch description) but specifically tweaked for the BH5. Dapper Devil for the Blackheart Handsome Devil BH15 ampAdds the 3 way voicing switch (see V-Switch description) but specifically tweaked for the BH15. VoxMo4 for the Vox AC4TV head or combo (-TV versions only)Adds the 3 way voicing switch - Stock, Top Boost (jangle) and Mis-shift overdrive (AC 30) Tweed Meister - for the Fender Musicmaster bass amp There is a whole modding community built up around these classic amps. These mods rewire the preamp section, replacing the volume pot, tone caps, and virtually all the other preamp resistors and caps to match the circuit configuration of a tweed Fender Princeton 5E2. From there, I have changed the values of a few key components bring it to the BitMo standards of tone. With the dual output tubes, the modded amp is very similar to the coveted classic tweed Deluxe. FX-Verb - a stand-alone external reverb box that can be plugged into the FX loop of any amp Provides classic wet reverb. It works well with clean surf, country or jazz tones, and even overdriven classic rock. It sounds great – very natural and spring-like, featuring the same Accutronics Belton reverb block used in several boutique amps and pedals. It actually sounds better than the real spring tanks in some classic amps. V-Verb - adds Reverb to the VHT Special 6 Ultra head or combo amps Add Great sounding reverb to this amp (VHT Special 6 Ultra only). See the FX-Verb description above for sonic details.
