Description: The difficult to find 03 Pista Concept. The first year Bianchi produced an aluminum track bike. They eventually settled on the Super Pista design for mass production. The ‘03 model is a cult classic and one of my favorite track frames. This first Concept model had a design flaw with the integrated seat post collar. When overtightened it would crack. This happened to most owners of the 03 Concept. This happened to the original owner of this frame. I went to a master welder Arctec Welding, Darren. He was responsible for welding all the metal flaws in the Stanford Linear Accelerator. He skillfully welded in and over the crack. It has held soundly for years.
