BABYLON 5 COMPLETE SERIES SEASONS 1-5 DVD SET

Description: J. Michael Straczynski's epic sci-fi saga. A really refined drama/sci-fi series. So underrated. One of the very few series that successfully hybridize episodic stories with a long-arc plot line.Although some of the special effects seem a little dated in this day and age, one can't forget this CGI was absolutely groundbreaking at the time. Probably the first sci-fi series to rely exclusively on CGI.Once you've begun to see Peter Jurasik and Andreas Katsulas craft their characters of Londo Mollari and G’Kar in this series, you get a new appreciation for acting. It's something to see these characters blur the lines between heroes and villains. This DVD set includes all episodes from seasons 1 through 5.As with all of these sets, a few of the discs have problems loading but if you look around, you'll see this is common. I think this issue affects every set made in one way or another. The few episodes that I missed, I was able to purchase very reasonably one episode at a time through Amazon streaming.
