Please excuse any glare in the photos. This sculpture depicts Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), the German composer and musician of the Baroque period. The bust has a greenish color, with areas of dark brown. The exact composition of the bust is not known, but it seems to be ceramic or plaster. The bust is affixed to a wooden base. The overall dimensions are approximately 13 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches by 8 3/8 inches. Unpacked, this piece weighs 8 pounds 13.2 ounces. There are green felt dots beneath.
