Description: Antique Wooden Hand Plane Iron and chip breaker assemblies. These are sold on an each basis with discounting for multiple purchases that are shipped together. Please specify in your order which items (letter) you are interested in. These will be sold on a first come first served basis and I will update the notes as quickly as I am able after sales are made. All irons are tapered style. A - greenfield tool co, greenfield mass with chip breaker and bolt. 2-1/8” wide x 7.5” long. This iron looks like it is full length. Chip breaker bottoms out about 1/8” before tip so iron may need to be shortened a bit for fine work with this setup. Iron in good condition. Some pitting on back around slot. That will not impact performance. B - buck brothers warranted cast steel. 2” wide x 7.5” long. With chip breaker and nut. Good shape. C - G Baldur Garantie on front, wolfram vanadium on back. 1-7/8” x 7” long with chip breaker and bolt. Good shape. D - Sandusky Tool warranted cast steel. 2-1/8” wide x 7” long with chip breaker and bolt. Good shape. E - providence tool co warranted extra cast steel. 2-1/8” wide x 6-7/8” long. Good shape but some pitting/dents on back of iron. F - greenfield tool co warranted cast steel… maybe… much of marking is damaged. 2-1/8” wide x 6” long. Not in great shape with some pitting but I believe this could achieve a clean edge with some work. With chip breaker and bolt. Note that chip breaker is slid up in photos so iron marking can be seen.
