Antique Victorian Etruscan Revival Gold Fill Mourning Hair Jewelry Brooch Pin

Description: Up for sale is an antique Victorian Etruscan Revival gold filled mourning brooch. Pin features a ribbed almond shaped piece in the center surrounded by highly decorated metal. As Is, as found condition. Closure has a c clasp. Underneath clasp on back is a piece of paper, under which is a lock of blonde hair tied with a string. I received it with just the paper protecting the hair. I am unsure what originally was there, possibly a glass window? Pin looks to be gold filled. No makers marks. Pin bar is silver tone and a bit bent. Although it's a tight fit, c clasp does work. Tip of Pin is bent upwards. On front of brooch, almond shaped piece has some dings and scratches as well as plating loss. Some tarnish and finish loss, especially around outside edge with small bumps. Back shows plating loss. There is a fairly large dent near Pin hinge and near the c clasp on the opposite side than the dent is a very deep scrarch/gouge. Lovely piece of Victorian history!
