Description: What an find! I'm not an expert but I couldn't find any similar online. It could be from late 1800 or early 1900? Beautiful Victorian tapestry with the scene where young gentlemen helping a lady to cross the spring. The top and bottom of the tapestry are dark red velvet. Velvet on the left panel has a little tear 1" and some of the velvet is a bit frayed. Tiny paint stains on the frame and on one tapestry. The middle panel is in very good condition. The right panel tapestry has tear (please look at the picture). The ribbon between tapestry and the velvet is unattached in one spot. Back fabric of the divider is damaged and frayed in multiple spots. It's very fragile. Could be removed if desired. The wooden frame has a few little scratches. It's on the coasters and could be moved to any direction and shape. Total length when straight is 68", one panel is 22,5" x 44" which is the height of the divider. Weight is 22lb.
