Description: Hand hammered copper ashtray sports what I understand is a later early mark. One Roycroft site calls this Mark "the little stubby" and dates it to the late teens (1915-1919). I have included a close up of the mark so you may satisfy yourself re dating. The bottom is 3.5 inches in diameter. The ashtray is 2 inches high from the top of the curled lip to the bottom. The piece maintains its original shape- see the photos of the bottom and top. There is a clear ding in the lip as shown in the photo. Underneath the ding in the lip there are 2 slight indentations of the body of the ashtray. The photos don't pick them up for you to see but they are there. Nice patina. What else can I say. Great little antique piece of Roycroft. Check back soonas I should have some other pieces of Roycroft and Heintz listed in the following weeks. Thanks for looking. Combined shipping available
