It has an alligatored Black over Green Painted Surface. The paint is VERY Secure. The Needlepoint cover is attached with decorative Brass upholstery Tacks. See photos. A unique shape, and it is one of a kind. The Footstool measures approximately 12"6 1/2" 6 1/2". Good, clean Condition, with expected age wear and patina of a used item. A sweet and Folky little Footstool.
