Description: Incredible 1870s Wind Up Toy Bear with the Original Box and Key. LOVE that paper label on the box and the way this Victorian Bear has so much personality. The Wind up works and the bears arms and head moves. The legs do not move and i am not sure if they ever did. Box measures approx 10 x 5'' A really unique / rare piece that will stand out in the collection. LOOKS FAB on the shelf next tot he box displayed. I think it is rabbit fur, it is very soft. There is heavy age, wear, marks, distressing etc all from a life of over 140 years. The fur has matting, losses, is coming off etc. The piece is best as id displayed on the shelf next to the box.
