Description: This early (1850s) candle chest has a very sought after patina! Made to be wall hung, it has a top bin with a drawer underneath. The primitive construction is held together with hand forged square nails and has a worn brown finish. The 12 x 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 drawer has a white porcelain pull knob on the front. The chest measures 13 1/2" wide x 7 1/2" deep x 16 3/4" tall. The chest is solid and ready to use. It has age related wear with paint loss, edge chips and cracks. Look carefully at photos.
