Description: The word bread is painted on in black and can be sanded off. This box is made completely of wood. Where the screws would go, there are wooden rods that bring the box together completely flush! I’m not sure of when this box was made but based on the little research there is on the internet, it says early 1900s. The wood is in very good condition with minor flaws. There is a little white paint on one side of the box and on the front at the bottom there is a scrap in the wood which can also be sanded down! This box measures 17.4” x 8.2” x 8.5”(this is where the bread box ends but the storage and decoration at the top add one inch.
