Nice patina and craft, the bell was made in to a censer probably after damage visible on bottom area, a wood base and 2 bronze lion head handles was attached to it. The base has been freed from old iron nails and the inner ash used for incense burning has been removed, buyer will decide if to remove bronze handles. Bell sound could be partly recuparated if handles are detached. Dated with top rim inscription 1710. Historical item. Period: dated on rim 1710 February 13 ( 宝永八年二月十三) Dimensions: bell Diam 34 cm, total weight 5.720 Kg + wrapping Conditions: medium good, historical item with 300 years of usage, wear marks from extensive usage and time, not usable as bell in current conditions. please see photos.
