Description: This is a really nice antique sterling silver 2-5/8" salt serving spoon in the popular Cambridge pattern, introduced by Gorham in 1899. This is guaranteed to be old and is not a recast. The photo kind of makes it look like it has a wave in the handle, but it does not have a wave in the handle! It weighs about 3.8 grams of sterling silver, always a good investment. It is marked "Sterling", along with the old lion-anchor-G hallmark for Gorham, a prominent American company. Engraving (monograms, places, dates, etc.): Tiny "C" on the front of the handle. No, that's not for me, I'm not quite that old! Condition: It has a little light wear from minimal use and some normal light tarnish from age.
