Description: Antique men's pocket watch from Geo. A. Clark & Sons, Lorain, Ohio. I inherited this watch from someone that purchased this watch in Ontario, Canada in 2004. Doing research, very little information was available about this watch. The watchmaker was George A Clark (1861-1944) who started his jewlery business at turn of the 20th century in Lorain, Ohio (west of Cleveland along Lake Erie). Watch runs in good working order, but may need cleaned. Case is 20 year gold filled, rose gold color. Features ornate leaf design on both sides with a farm house also on the reverse.Case measures approx. 1 3/8" (35mm) in diameter. Dial measures 1 1/8" (28mm) in diameter (size 2/0s?). Total weight is 37.6 grams.
