Description: Antique Faience Style K& G Luneville Apples Plate France 1880s Signed Beautiful Antique Majolica Faience style decorative wall plate, produced by K and G Luneville in the late 1880s. Found this plate over 50 years ago from a small estate of an old French lady who was going to live with her daughter. This plate measure 8.5 inches in diameter and in excellent antique condition with no cracks, no crazing, no glaze lost or real chips (There are on the backside of the plate a couple very tiny flea bites or bubble bursts that are common with this material). Beautiful vibrant colors and glaze. This executed material was a soft clay used in France during the1800s. This gorgeous antique French made plate, signed Obert & decorated with apples is ready to hang with its original wire still in place.
