Description: Antique Early? Marbles W-1 for Winchester 1894 & 55 Peep Sight w/Base Pat. Oct. 20 1903 This sight seems to be quite old, not a modern or vintage re-release. Patent Oct. 20 1903 I believe the listing title to be correct, but I do not know for sure, so please see all pictures for accuracy. Sight is in good condition with some blemishes, finish is mostly worn off, light rust, and minor dings. Sight moves and springs back into position, but does not lock. The piece below the peep seems to need to be serviced or greased in order to move properly so base can lock (if this base even does that, not sure). Peep moves up and down, but does not seem to do it 100% correctly, still adjustable, but I do not know if it functions like the factory intended it since I do not have an identical sight in mint condition to compare it with.
