Please ask for more pictures if needed.This auction is for an antique bisque 28" Heinreich Handwerck doll. She was made for the French market. She can sit or stand well. As usual the stand will be included, head stuffed to prevent the eyes from breaking. The wig will not be fully put on so you can remove packing.HEADThe head has been backlit, no hairline cracks. Anything that looks like it might be is a stray hair. The 4 front teeth are intact. The ears are pierced, earrings included. She has antique brown sleep eyes that are not original to the head. She has a gorgeous full human hair blonde wig.MARKINGS ON BACK OF HEAD1499DEP GermanyH BODY This is tightly strung. She will sit or stand. It is a 17 piece composition body. Fingers and toes are intact. There is a dent on the outside of the right foot. It has the usual dings of these 100 + year old bodies. It is stamped Handwerck. It is probably not original to the doll.CLOTHINGShe has an an antique antique half slip over an antique "onesie". They are not a matched set but are in very good condition. The onesie had been slip stitched shut. I will not be resewing it closed. She is wearing reproduction socks and shoes. She is wearing an antique cream colored silk dress. It buttons in the back. All buttons are there, no tears of button holes. There is some melting in the front, both in the upper skirt and the lower mid-->left bodice. They are barely visible when the doll is displayed. The bodice is lined. The dress is not original to the doll. She has an antique bonnet that you will have to look at picture as it is difficult to describe SHIPPING Shipping is an estimate. I put in estimated total weight and package size, Ebay gives you a price based on that and the distance it will travel from Connecticut. I will ship the least expensive way possible. The package will be insured for the value paid. It is included in the shipping cost. FOR PACKING I USE PREVIOUSLY USED BOXES, CLEAN PLASTICS THAT CAN BE RECYCLED, NOT NEW PACKING MATERIALS. THE HEAD IS WRAPPED IN EITHER NEW OR USED BUBBLE WRAP. THE BOX/PACKING WILL NOT LOOK PRETTY OR ELEGANT BUT THE CONTENTS WILL BE SECURE. THESE MATERIALS MAY BE PLASTIC MILK CARTONS, NEWSPAPERS, EMPTY FOOD PACKAGES, ETC. These all have been washed in hot soapy water and allowed to dry completely.
