Description: Antique Disston "Triumph" hand saw tooth setting tool. This tool was designed to set the kerf on the saw teeth evenly. Originally patented in 1899, this tool remained in production until the 1940's. That says alot about its success. This tool is about 7-1/4" long and in good working condition. Strong spring, good grips smoothly move the punch into the anvil. The anvil has four different positions to obtain your desired bend. There is a thumb screw on the bottom that is used to set the saw in the proper position. With the exception of one replaced screw in the saw lift, this tool appears to be original. Good original painted areas. Nice tool for display or use. See pictures for details.
