Description: Romualdo Moscioni was born in Viterbo and came to Rome in 1868 to set up a photographic laboratory, specializing in architecture, art and Christian archaeology. He worked in Via Due Macelli n. 89 and then in Via Condotti n. 76.He published four editions of his catalogue, the last one (greatly revised) in 1921. He died in 1925.Sources: "Raccolta di fotografie esistenti nello stabilimento fotografico commerciale di Romualdo Moscioni, fondato fin dall'anno 1868", IV Edizione, Roma, 1921. [It happens that the Italian design firm Armani currently occupies Via Condotti, 76.] Covers with minor wear. The album has what I would describe as an ‘old book’ aroma. It is approximately 9.75 x 7 inches. The binding feels firm, even somewhat stiff when opening the book. It appears to have been tightened [glued] internally. The free endpapers, front and rear, have small flaws - see pics. No writing on the pages. Every page and every photo in the album is shown. Please examine photos closely if interested, and feel free to ask a question. An adult recipient at the eBay registered address will need to sign for the album at delivery. Thanks for your interest.
