HERE WE HAVE: An antique Boyce Motometer! These were most popularly used during the late 1910s-1920s. From what I've gathered online it seems around 1930 dash-mounted temperature gauges came out and people/manufacturers stopped using these. *6/13/24* CONDITION: Acceptable, antique condition. This piece is heavily tarnished, spotted and discolored all throughout the metal. It looks like the finish was possibly chrome? It is very worn down and scratched. There are two small screws missing on the front and one on the back. There is dirt and grease build up in the crevices, screw and inside the glass pieces. I would assume the thermometer is probably not working. The latch on this is very loose as well, it doesn't stay clasped when the piece is moved. Will come as shown, please see photos! MEASUREMENTS: Whole piece is about 4 1/4" tall, with a wingspan of 6 1/2". The diameter of the screw is just a few mm under 2". SHIPPING: Calculated.
