Description: Antique Book. PARADISE LOST A POEM IN TWELVE BOOKS By John Milton. 15th Edition. With an account of his life. Published for J & R Tonson In 1738. Leather Bound with beautiful illustrations. Dimensions: 10cm x 27cm approx Condition. Leather cover has wear around the corners. The top 2cms of the front and back boards have come slightly away from the spine. The bottom of the spine has a small section of leather missing. The front endpapers have a cracked hinge, and the first page has damage in the middle of the hinge but is still connected. The frontispiece has also come away at the middle of the hinge. The title page is good, and it has a name inscribed, "Henry White." As far as I can see, every book has an illustration. They are all present. Half of pg 201 is missing. Everything else seems good. It's a wonderful little book considering its age. Please see photos for details or message me for more information. Please see my other items as I have many interesting old books available.
