Unusual piece with a scalloped floral design and ball feet resembling walnuts. Interestingly, an almost identical bowl online has a Tiffany mark. Of course, both Tiffany & Black Starr & Frost ( recognized as the oldest jewelry firm in America ) both retailed silver that wasn’t always produced by them. Many great silversmith produced items for these companies. Very unusual piece. Hallmarked on the underside with Black Starr & Frost. Small ding on one of the petals but overall excellent condition.
