Description: You are bidding on an antique, ceramic, under the glaze, transfer-advertised Tooth Paste pot lid and base section. This lidded jar was produced for "S. Maw, Son & Sons" (a three-generational family business) located in LONDON, England. It dates to between 1900-1910. This is an ORIGINAL piece and NOT a repro! The lid measures 2 5/8" in diameter and stands about 1 3/4" tall when the lid is seated on the base section in it's normal position. As you can see from the pics, the lid face features advertising information against a background of scrolls & swirls with the Trade Mark company monogram, to the center. For condition report please see "Item specifics/Seller notes" above and check out all the pics as they form an important part of the overall description. A nice "busy" advertising transfer on this delightful little lid. Nice piece for a collection or as an antique decorative display somewhere strategic in the home!EBAY, IN CONJUNCTION WITH MOST U.S. STATES, NOW CHARGES AND INVOICES STATE TAXATION, (i.e. COLLECTION OF TAXES IN THE STATES WHERE STATE TAXATION APPLIES).
