I have been collecting vintage watches for over 30 years and I don't believe I have ever had a Ball 23 Jewel Official Standard Railroad 23 Jewel 5 Adjust 16 Size pocket watch like this one. Very high grade RR Grade watch that is currently running. The J. Boss Keystone 14k white gold filled case measures 51.4 mm wide and is 14.5 mm thick. It is in very nice condition and has an ornate screw-off case back. The SIGNED movement has a serial # B624283 which dates this BALL watch to 1917. It is a Hamilton 999N 23 Jewel lever set movement with 5 adjusts and has Patent dates Dec, 8, 1908 and Nov. 17, 1896. The SIGNED dial is very nice and the glass crystal does have a few minor scratches. This Ball Hamilton Model 1 RR Grade watch is running but I am selling it as-is and as found. I have no service records for this hard to find 23J Ball Hamilton watch. I am selling this nearly 107 year old American Ball RR Grade watch as-is and as found. Please look at my pictures.
