Description: This bayonet and scabbard are in solid condition. The blade measures 22 !/2" long and is good condition. I see a G on the hilt. I see a "B" inside an oval and a "M" under a crown inside an oval on the blade near the hilt. I see an L550 on the other side of the hilt.The back of the blade has the manufacturers name St. Etienne Arsenal and dated 1868 and can be seen in my last photo.The scabbard is marked L 49376. The button that clicks on when pushed is very tight.
