Description: Rare antique 1855 copy of Simm's "Richard Hurdis: A Tale of Alabama," which is part of the Border Novels and Romances of the South series. The book is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. The covers have some moderate wear. The binding is good and sound. There is a period name inscription to the front blank flyleaf. The interior is lightly toned from age with some scattered foxing. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a minor interior crack, creased page corner, minor bit of soiling, small chip, tiny tear etc. Generally though, it's a good copy. The book measures approximately 7 5/8 inches by 5 1/8 inches and is 403 pages long. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
