Description: Item is approximately 22 inches long, 16.75 inches wide, and 13 inches tall. Signed JW benson, 28 royal exchange London. Not positive but from the research I did it seems to be from around the 1890s. If you google the persons name on the box (if it is him, FE COBB) matches up to the correct era and seems to be someone note worthy. If it all adds up correctly the manufacturer made this box for him in the 1890s, but again all speculation. Please view photos for overall condition. There are marks, scratches, a few chips, and a broken piece. There is no key. The top of the lock mechanism shown in picture has been broken off but will still be included. For the age of the box, I still think it’s in pretty good shape given its age. Has a good “patina” to it. This item will be sold as is how is!
