The earlier ones (like this one) say "Willage Boy." Another distinction among these dolls is that the earliest ones are labeled "Made in Russia" or "Foreign Made" instead of "Made in Soviet Union."Generally collectors date the ones that do not say "Soviet Union" as from 1922 or earlier.
