Description: This PreHistoric Stone Axe is fully grooved with full 3/4” hand made groove. Likely over 8,000 years old. Found on a farm in Southern Ohio. Dimensions about 5 1/2” long, 3” wide and 2” thick. Weight is 1 lb. 11 oz. (760 grams). This piece is from a personal Artifact collection that is being liquidated. Notes taped to each piece such as this have been retained for reference, but their accuracy is only as good as the collector’s research.
