Description: This one offers a replacement smoke unit element replacement for a Gilbert American Flyer XAB13B445C smoke box. This will work on Gilbert HO steam locomotive smoke boxes as well as the smoke units in S gauge Washington and Franklin steam engines (smoke box assembly #P10051). The instruction sheet from the manufacturer specifies the XAB13B445C specifically, but I believe one is simply a slight variation of the other for the purposes of these units. Please note that the instruction sheet that came with other of these elements implies that some skill is needed to change these out. I purposely took a picture of the instruction sheet so that you can get a feel if replacing this unit matches your skill level as not to disappoint anyone. While this instruction sheet was not specific to this loose element, it is the same drill. Note this one does not come with a replacement wick which will be needed for a complete overhaul.
