Description: [Crowley, Aleister] A two-page typed letter, signed by Aleister Crowley, with a few manuscript corrections in his hand. Dated November 19th, 1929 Two pieces of paper measuring approx. 9 " x 6 3/4". The letter refers to the impending publication of "Magick in Theory and Practice," Astrological matters, etc. It has a typed addres, "Ivy Cottage, Knockholt, Kent, Nov. 19th, 1929" in the upper right hand corner of the first page. At the end of the typewritten text there is the "secretary's imprimatur", which reads "666/anl" indicating that this letter was typed for "666" (Aleister Crowley) by Israel Regardie. From the collection of former Crowley, associate, Edward "Ted" Noel FitzGerald (1908-1958). FitzGerald, also known by his magical name Frater Agape, had been initiated into the A ∴ A ∴ by Crowley, and was a IX degree member of the O.T.O. and a friend and follower of Crowley's from the mid-1930s onwards. Some slight discoloration, two rust marks from a paperclip, one horizontal and one vertical crease from being folded and put into an envelope, else in very good + condition.
