Description: Grimnir nacht means "The Night of Death". Grimnir is the Anglo Saxon god and spirit of death, his daily task after dusk is to circumnavigate the globe to reap his harvest of souls. This Alchemy Gothic original features the Grim Reaper with crossed scythes standing atop a deep blue enamel inverse globe (inverse meaning the surface is flat and the globe is etched in a cup-shaped form that extends out the back). The map is ringed by Latin-inscribed brass, reading omness una manet nox mors certa nora incerta. The pendant is fine English pewter, 3" high and 1 1/4" wide. Comes on a 20" dark gunmetal curb chain.
