Description: This is cute little Admiral AM-band tube radio from 1963-64. This model was called the "Minuet" and this one is in the "Magna Gray" color. It uses 4 vacuum tubes and has a built-in antenna. It has a small chip in the front top of the plastic case. (see photo) The chip is 1/4' wide and very shallow. The remainder of the case is good with some light handling scuffs and very light scratches that should polish out. The back is in excellent condition and the cord is still OK. The knobs are original and in good condition. I tested this radio using a "dim-bulb" tester to protect it while powering on. I can hear stations but there is a loud 60-cycle hum that covers up most of the audio. I suspect a bad capacitor but will leave the repair to the new owner. This is a nice compact tube radio that should be easy to repair. I warrant the radio to be as described when you receive it. There is no additional warranty. Check my feedback. I describe my items accurately, pack safely, and ship quickly. Note that my price includes standard shipping in the CONUSA. Check my listings for other vintage electronics.
