Description: This Chinese vase (app 10") is classic baluster in form decorated with unusual display of florals. and wreaths. The porcelain body is thinly potted and high fired with a degree of translucence like bone china. Rare and different from the Canton and medallion patterns. Red paint stamp "China" at the bottom. This means it was made between 1890 to 1928. The imposition of the McKinley Tariff Act started ca 1890 and was strictly enforced after 1928 requiring the "Made in" to precede name of country the item is made from. Very good to excellent condition. No chips cracks or repairs.
