Description: Offered is the vintage soft cover book "A Child's View of the Presidents", written by Samuel Lucas McMillan and published by Quality Publishing in Conway, South Carolina. The book, written by a 10-year old boy from South Carolina, features a brief biography of each US President from Washington through George H. W. Bush, with an accompanying illustration by the author, has a 1989 copyright date and appears to be a first printing of the first edition. There is what appears to be a facsimile author's signature on the title page. This is a rare find; at the time of original listing I could not find any other copies for sale on eBay or anywhere else. The thin book is approx. 8 1/4" x 5 1/2" and contains 32 pages. It is in very good condition. The soft white and blue cover has no tears but does have slightly curved-in corners and some light soiling and yellowing. I see no missing or torn pages and all of the pages are well-attached to the cover. They have yellowed slightly but are otherwise clean. I see no writing in the book. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
