Description: This is a rare 1987 Gibson WRC electric guitar with a unique combination of a Wayne Charvel 1987 Gibson neck and an 80's Warmoth Strat body. The body is made of alder wood and comes in a beautiful blue color. The neck is made of maple and features a rosewood fretboard with 22 frets. This professional-level guitar from Gibson's WRC series has a right-handed orientation and a 6-string configuration. It comes with a strap, hard case, and gig bag, making it easy to take on the go. The model year is 1987 and it was manufactured in the United States. This guitar is perfect for any musician looking for a high-quality instrument with an exceptional sound. This guitar has some custom work done to it. It's got a black Floyd Rose, Gibson humbucker and two Fender USA Alnico 5 single coil pickups, black kahler nut with vintage 80's Gibson logo grover style black tuners and a new Gibson neckplate There's a new Fender USA 5 way pickup switch and 3 other switches that move the pickup configuration around. Lots of very cool sounds possible. It was just set up with 10's at MAD guitars in Burbank and has super low action (like butter) and stays in tune. A few dings here and there (see pics). A great playing and great sounding guitar! After market cavity plate and a Warmoth tremolo cover. The neck has been refinished for a fine smooth feel, very fast. The black headstock paint was removed when refinished. Custom WRC truss rod cover and Gibson decal.
