Description: Very nice early 1900’s Lorenz Furtwangler & Sohne movement. It is 8 day and strikes the hour and half hour on a heavy very pleasant sounding gong. The clock has a 8-1/2” (bezel to bezel) silvered dial (which is worn and will need to be re-silvered) and a 13" pendulum with bob. Movment is stamped LFS in a escape wheel design and serial number 68660. The pendulum is 13”. The movement holder/gong is marked LFS as are the two brass spacers for leveling the clock. There is a plaque on the rear plate of the movement that reads something in French and also DRGM 776168. This clock comes with dial, hands, movment, gong base, brass levelers, and pendulum. The case was not salvageable but it was a standard "box" wall clock. Both springs are intact and I have had the clock running but I’m sure it will need to be cleaned and oiled. Please see my other auctions for more clocks. All items are from a non-smoking home. Sales TermsSHIPPING & HANDLING: U.S. Buyer pays FedEx shipping on this item, depending on your zone.
