7th Infantry Division OD Border White Back Patch Kwajalein Kiska Pacific

Description: The Patch: This auction is for One WWII Original 7th Infantry Division Shoulder patch with a an OD Border and a white back. It has been used and is in good condition. It has a very nice white backing. This patch does not glow under the UV light and is guaranteed to be authentic. The History: The 7th was assigned to the Regular Army when Pearl Harbor was attacked. It left the United States for Alaska in April of 1943. Their first action was on the island of Attu on May 11, 1943. They next assaulted Kiska but no enemy forces were there. After the Aleutians campaign, the division trained in Hawaii and then assaulted Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. They then helped take islands in the Eniwetok Atoll. After Eniwetok, the 7th took part in the invasion of Leyte. Their final action occurred when they participated in the attack on Okinawa on April 1, 1945.. Please read my auction requirements.
