Description: For sale is a NOS 357244 close ratio main drive/4th gear for 1971-74 Muncie transmissions. It is in absolute mint condition as you can see. If you look closely you can see another tag under the 357244. I peeled it back and it has a 3978773 tag. The 3978773 changed to 357244 so this gear is actually the earliest version of the two. This is a great part to have a spare of even if you don't need it right now. Please check your application before purchase to be sure of fitment as I only have Pontiac parts books.
