Description: 6 Sunbonnet Ladies Antique Postcards. 1900s. Publ TPC. For Collectors w Value This is a nice group of 6 GREETINGS POSTCARDS showing SUNBONNET LADIES. These postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. The SUNBONNET CHILDREN postcards were developed in the early 1900s and this is the next step to create Sunbonnet Ladies. These would be of interest to collectors. These keep the unique and distinctive style with dresses, hats, and the face is never showing. These were published by Taylor, Platt & Co. that published postcards in the 1906-1916 era. They have a distinctive deer with horns logo. There are 6 postcards in this group. Five of them are from the same set and have a border around the picture. Two are duplicates. The buyer could add the person's name to the message that was written on the front. These postcards have both a man and a woman, and even the man has a hat on. The other postcard is a woman in a canoe with a phrase: "There is room here for someone", a romantic postcard. These are very nice antique postcards with good detail. They are colorful and nicely represent the culture of America back in the early 1900s. Overall, a very nice selection of antique Sunbonnet Girls postcards! These are collector items because of their age, and their appeal to collectors. The postcards are UNPOSTED (5) and POSTED (1 - Lady in canoe) with a cancel date of 1913. The postcards have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARD and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age.
