Description: We offer a 50 pF, Hi Voltage Vacuum Tube Capacitor for HF Tuners, manufactured by the Aircraft Radio Corp and or the General Electric Co. The capacitor is used and presents a capacitance of 57.4 pF. The markings include part number 8047 and 19L3. The data sheet gives the voltage as 5 kV and the current as 5A. The capacitor is in good condition with some scratches, dirt and wear. The input and output connectors are 0.57 inches in diameter. The tube shown no signs of vacuum degradation (cracks, conductor discoloration, moisture ingress, etc). I measured the capcitance with an Extech 380193 Handheld LCR meter (see photos). The device does not exhibit a DC short. However, I am unable to determine the operating voltage of this unit. The capacitor comes with sockets for each end. The glass vacuum tube capacitor, shown in the photos, is the only item included in this listing. No cables, accessories or test equipment are included. Any test equipment shown is to demonstrate the operation of this device. The photos were taken on a 1 cm grid.
