EMB, Gold Trim w Value This is a nice selection of 5 NEW YEARS POSTCARDS that are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s and were "Printed in Germany". They have the classic New Years motifs such as holly and berries, wintery snow rural scenes, flowers, etc. These are EMBOSSED and have GOLD / SILVER TRIM. They are attractive postcards with good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. One postcard shows a couple standing outside of a farm house in the snow. It has green four leaf clovers all around and a pink ribbon. There is another postcard with a four leaf clover and horseshoes in the background design. There is a postcard with silver trim, showing pink roses with a snowy border around them. One shows a snowy scene with a large tree in the middle, and it appears to be sunset. This has strong gold trim around the picture. The other postcard has two red potted roses and a snowy scene in the middle. There is holly and berries as a border around the picture. These were made during the "Golden Age of Antique Postcards" (1908-1915 era). Overall, a nice selection of New Years antique postcards! These are collector items because of their age, being "Printed in Germany", and their appeal to antique postcard collectors. Antique postcards that were "Printed in Germany" are sought after and desired by collectors and dealers because they were the best published postcards at that time. The postcards are POSTED with cancel dates of 1907-1911. The postcards are EMBOSSED, "PRINTED IN GERMANY", and with GOLD / SILVER TRIM. They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and the backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope.
