You will have to glue in any cameos, cabs, glass or whatever you want to put into the setting, no prongs and they are very sturdy. You will not be disappointed in the quality, it is excellent and if I was setting any cameos or cabs, I would use these. These have never been used. Since they are a solid back, you could go down in size a little if you had an odd size cameo or cab to try and fit. They have a gorgeous Victorian look to them.
