Description: 4 New Years Antique Postcards,Printed in Germany 1900s EMB Gold Trim, w Value This is a nice group of 4 NEW YEARS POSTCARDS that are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s and were "Printed in Germany". They have the classic New Years motifs such as holly and berries, wintery snow rural scenes, birds, bells, etc. These are EMBOSSED and have GOLD TRIM. They are attractive postcards with good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. There are two postcards that are part of the same set, and show a rural scene in the middle. They both have wood signs with birds. There is another postcard with a woman walking in a rural scene with birds in the foreground. And, there is a postcard with bright berries and holly with bells, and a church snowy scene in the background. Three of these were from the same publisher, B.B. who published in London & New York. These postcards were made during the "Golden Age of Antique Postcards" (1908-1915 era). Overall, a nice selection of New Years antique postcards! These are collector items because of their age, being "Printed in Germany", and their appeal to antique postcard collectors. Antique postcards that were "Printed in Germany" are sought after and desired by collectors and dealers because they were the best published postcards at that time. The postcards are POSTED with cancel dates of 1910-1913. The postcards are EMBOSSED, "PRINTED IN GERMANY", and they all have GOLD TRIM. They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and the backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope.
