Description: Penn Antique Restoration 30"x 75" Antique Interior Door w/ Single Recessed Panel Elegant, antique, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door is made of solid pine and has a single panel on each side. One side is mostly stripped, unpainted and the other side is painted white. When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store. * If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with a solid wood, please email us for a quote. Condition: On the exterior side of the door, the top of the lock stile is chipped. Otherwise, the door is strong, sturdy, and in great shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes--minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. Refinish/Repaint: We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish. See the last photo in this auction as an example of our work.
